I think the original is correct. The article says: P's primary goal is to have some evidence about SB's existence or non-existence, while P's secondary goal is to believe. So the original assign a higher value (3) to the fact that the primary goal is met (that is SB reveal) and the secondary doesn't (that is P not believing).
