I am one, who has always enjoyed listening to well played violin music, but knew nothing of the Helmholtz principle, nor have I any experience in stringed instruments. Your explanations were somewhat easy for me to understand, to the extent that I have formed a greater appreciation for those who attempt to play, and more so, for those who play well.
