Is the Universe finite or infinite? Is there infinity inside a black hole? Is space infinitely divisible or is there a shortest length? Questions like these were hotly debated at the Infinities and Cosmology conference at the University of Cambridge back in March. We caught up with three participants, the physicist Anthony Aguirre and the cosmologists and mathematicians John D. Barrow and George Ellis, to find out more. It's a fascinating subject!
