Scientists trying to build quantum computers might do worse than talk to birds. Some species of birds use quantum mechanics to navigate and studying how they do it might help with building those elusive quantum machines. Back in 2010 we spoke to the physicists Simon Benjamin and Erik Gauger to find out more.
