In 2014 Thierry Bousch published a solution to The Reve`s puzzle (four pegs version). Just recently there appeared a flawed article in DMAA claiming a proof of the Frame-Stewart conjecture, but a group of authors wrote http://bit.ly/FSCnote, so the FSC with five or more pegs remains an open problem.
