There can never be a largest prime. Euclid proved that. You can use the GIMPS algorithm (The Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search algorithm to find a new Mersenne prime, if you are so inclined. The 50th one was found in 2017 by Jonathan Pace using GIMPS day and night fo fourteen years.
