Yes, I understand, that entropy is probabilistic and could increase locally through pure chance (but averagely in the whole universe it's decreasing). I also understand, that it's us, who ascribe (one) direction to time.

What I am concerned with, is definition (it's not official definition I think - it's rather how to describe time using entropy). It seems circular to me. I tried to think about it more, but it didn't help. I'm pretty sure that I'm missing something, but I don't know what is it.
